NeighborWorks America Training Institute and its Community and Neighborhood Revitalization
NeighborWorks Training Institute offers education, certification, networking and opportunities and other resources to tens of thousands of people who are seeking to revitalize their communities. It is one of many national programs which further the NeighborWorks goal of “strengthening communities and transforming lives.” Classes in this curriculum focus on transforming communities into neighborhoods of choice for current and future residents and other neighborhood stakeholders. This robust approach provides seasoned advice in how to form partnerships that bring results, implement successful revitalization strategies, and measure and communicate the impacts of your work. Instructors who will come to Kentuckiana to deliver this first-of-its-kind “place-based” training include experienced practitioners, university professors and consultants with hands-on experience working with communities and nonprofit organizations from across the United States.
